A Creation Story

23:22 Apr 24 2007
Times Read: 841

In the beginning God said let there be light and there was light. And God created the Heavens and the Earth and looking upon it said "Let us make man in our likeness and image". God then made man, the last of creation.

So man having the innate curiosities of and drives as God began to colonize and shape the world they lived in. And over countless eons made earth the dominion of man. Having wrestled control of earth from nature man looked to the stars, seeking new worlds.

A thousand years later man colonized the Solar System and could harness the energy of an entire star. And saw that their sun could no longer support the energy needs of this rapidly growing race.

So man then sought out new worlds and a million years later controlled the galaxy and could wheeled the stars to their design. As we advanced across the galaxy so did our minds advance, we discovered the key to immortality and ended death. As time went on children looked up and said "I want to go there" as they pointed to Andromeda.

A billion years after that first desire we built our cities on the far out stars of the next galaxy. A million billion lives now ventured forth to begin a universal occupation.

Millions of years later we moved beyond the confines of our bodies and traveled freely through out the universe, man now arranging the universe in their image.

As billions of years passed human mind joined with human mind and ascended into hyperspace, until a trillion, trillion, trillion minds joined as one mind, one voice, one humanity.

When we, the one, looked down upon the universe that had sustained us for so long and saw it vanishing into nothingness. For all stars must end. The one then asked, must the universe die?

Countless measures of time passed as the One contemplated this question until an answer was found and for billions of years the One gathered the cold gasses and the dark remnants of the galaxies into a single giant ball and compressed it into a singularity.

Having found the answer the One cried out from hyperspace "Let there be light and there was light"

In the beginning God said "let there be light and there was light", in the end we shall say "let there be light and there was light". - - Xzavier McInnes
